History

North Asheville Christian School was launched in the fall of 1999 as a ministry of North Asheville Baptist Church (now Brookstone Church). The school was the realization of the vision of Pastor Jim Dykes, Senior Pastor of Brookstone.

During the 2015-2016 school year, NACS began the transition to a fully independent community Christian School. Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy officially launched on

August 1, 2016.
