Safety Precautions Due to COVID-19

Updated: Jul 24, 2020

An important message below from Mr. Robinson, Head of School, regarding Coronavirus measures being taken at RMCA:

July 23, 2020

Dear RMCA Family,

I hope you are as excited as we are to start school on August 20!

I am glad to share our current reopening plan with you for the upcoming school year with four detailed learning models.

As of today, we will use our “Blue Learning Model” to start school.

· Full Campus Return for All Employees and StudentsFor families who have determined that their children can return to the physical campus with the recommended health and safety procedures.

· Modifications Implemented

· Distance Learning OptionAvailable for families who have chosen or determined that their children are not able to return to the physical campus with the recommended health and safety procedures.

Our school’s leadership and Board of Directors have worked diligently to finalize our plan for the best approach as we start the school year. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support as we all learn and adjust to this new educational environment.

We understand that everyone has their own comfort level regarding COVID-19. For some, the requirements outlined might seem too stringent, while others think they are too relaxed. Wherever you fall on the spectrum, we ask that you remember that we are all part of the RMCA community and that as community members, we need to look out for one another and take prudent precautions to keep each other safe.

At this time, we need a response from each family confirming if your student(s) will be an on-campus learner or distance learner as we start this school year.

Please email us at rmca@rmcacademy.org and let us know your selection by August 3.

Sincerely,

Tony Robinson

Head of School
